I had an amazing experience staying at Taroko Village Hotel. The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the beauty of Taroko Park. The nearby trails provided opportunities for leisurely walks and immersing myself in nature. The room was comfortable and cozy, with heated mountain spring water for showers and a collection of books to learn about local history and culture. Although the hotel is not a five-star luxury experience, it was perfect for appreciating mountain living. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and peaceful getaway.

The value for money at the hotel was exceptional, with included breakfast and dinner. The room was well-equipped and the unique layout added a sense of adventure. The location in the mountains was breathtaking and the staff treated us with warmth and promptness.

The food for breakfast could have had more variety.

The location of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, nestled within the stunning Taroko Gorge. The duplex cottages offer spacious and comfortable accommodations, perfect for a relaxing stay. The buffet dinner and breakfast are both generous and varied, with plenty of options to satisfy any palate. The gardens surrounding the hotel are filled with vibrant butterflies, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the hotel provides a shuttle service to the bus stop, ensuring easy access to explore the national park.

The evening show could use improvement, as it is only conducted in Chinese and lacks the professional quality typically expected from an ethnic cultural performance.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and unique setting, surrounded by mountains and stunning views. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious, warm, and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options, including vegetarian dishes. The verandas provide amazing views of the surroundings. The hotel also offers complimentary drinks and toiletries in the cottages.

The performance by the children of the local tribe raised mixed feelings about possible exploitation.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel with a stunning view in Taroko National Park. Surrounded by misty mountains and lush greenery, the location was simply breathtaking. The rustic lodge was clean and had all the comforts we needed, including WiFi. We enjoyed the evening performance by the village staff and their family, it felt like a truly special family affair. The chief's funny welcoming speech added to the charm of the experience. The buffet-style meals offered a good variety of delicious food. We also loved exploring the hiking trails and visiting the cultural museum nearby to learn about the history of Taroko. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in the heart of nature.

We had a delightful stay at the mountain retreat. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains and tranquil nature. The lodges, although basic, were clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed. The highlight for us was the evening show put on by the locals, showcasing their culture and history. It was a unique and immersive experience. The dinner included in our stay was satisfactory, although more variety would have been appreciated. Despite a few minor issues such as the older appearance of the rooms and limited bus service, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Taroko Village. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning mountain setting and the opportunity to learn about indigenous culture.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the midst of a breathtaking natural setting. The view of the surrounding forest and Taroko Gorge was absolutely stunning. The location was a bit hard to reach without a car, but it was well worth the effort. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially a guy named "D" with an earring at the front desk. They went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. The buffet dinner exceeded my expectations with its sumptuous spread and variety of options. Additionally, the night show after dinner was not your usual indigenous show, but a highly entertaining and fun performance that kept me entertained for 90 minutes. The buffet breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. This hotel was conveniently located near some beautiful trails and footbridges, making it a great choice for nature enthusiasts.

    Nothing to dislike.

The staff was incredibly friendly and cute, always going above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. They even put on a simple and fun performance at night. The room itself was really nice, with all the amenities I needed and a great selection of books. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness was impeccable. As a couple, we loved the beautifully designed cottages nestled in the middle of the national park. Waking up to the feeling of nature surrounding us was a truly amazing experience. The dinner was served in a very eye-pleasing way, and we enjoyed the cute performance prepared by the staff in the evening. The location is easily accessible by train to XINCHENG station and then a short taxi ride. The kitchen staff also went out of their way to cater to my wife's gluten-free dietary requirements. We were also impressed by the evening concerts performed by youth groups, which provided both entertainment and insight into Taiwanese culture. the hotel's dedication to providing opportunities for aboriginal Taiwanese youth was commendable. One tip for fellow travelers is to visit the park in the morning to avoid the tour bus crowds.

We felt warmly welcomed during our stay and have no complaints at all.

The hotel offers lots of vegetarian options, which was a great bonus for me. The front desk staff, especially the guy with the ear ring, was incredibly helpful and friendly. They really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Additionally, the location of the hotel, nestled in the mountains, provided a stunning backdrop for our trip.

One downside was that the show that the hotel staff put on in the evening included a movie that was only in Chinese with no translation provided. This made it difficult for non-Chinese guests to fully enjoy the performance.
